These Terms of Use apply to calcanswers.com ("CalcAnswers", "the site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who runs this site

2. What the calculators are for

The calculators on this site are general information tools. They are built with care and checked against test cases (see our methodology), but the results are estimates based on the formulas and assumptions shown on each page. They are not tax, payroll, legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, and they don't take your personal situation into account. Rules such as tax rates, wage laws and benefit limits differ by state and change over time. Before you make a decision that matters, check the result with a qualified professional or the official source.

3. Free use, no account

The site is free to use and needs no account. You may use the calculators for personal and business purposes. You may link to any page. You may not copy the site's text, design or code in bulk, scrape it in a way that burdens the servers, try to break or bypass its security, or use it for anything unlawful.

4. Reports you send us

If you send a report with "Report a problem", you give us permission to use its content to find and fix problems, including adding the values from your report to our test cases. Please don't include personal information in a report. The privacy policy explains what is sent and how long it is kept.

5. Intellectual property

The texts, design, graphics and code of this site belong to WellTracked LLC or its licensors. The formulas themselves are not owned by anyone; the sources we cite belong to their publishers. Links to other websites are provided for your convenience; we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content.

6. No warranty

The site and the calculators are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, WellTracked LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on a result, even if we were told such damages were possible. Some states don't allow certain of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Utah and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict of law rules.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date below shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
