Health Calculators
Calculators for common health numbers: body mass index, your ovulation day and fertile window, and how many weeks pregnant you are. Each one names the medical formula or guideline it uses and its source. The results are estimates and do not replace advice from your doctor.
How to choose: the BMI calculator takes your height in feet and inches and your weight in pounds, or metric units, and shows your body mass index, the adult weight category and the healthy weight range for your height. The ovulation calculator estimates your ovulation day, fertile window and next period from the first day of your last period and your average cycle length. The pregnancy weeks calculator shows how far along you are in weeks and days, from your last period or from the due date your provider gave you, along with the estimated due date. Each page names its medical sources. The results are estimates and do not replace advice from your doctor, nurse or midwife.
