Math Calculators

Calculators for the math that comes up at school, at work and at home: percentages, fractions, area and basic geometry. Each result shows the steps, so you can follow along and check the answer.

How to choose: the percentage calculator covers the four everyday percent questions: a percent of a number, what percent one number is of another, the whole from a part, and the percent change between an old and a new value. The fraction calculator adds, subtracts, multiplies, divides and simplifies fractions and mixed numbers, and gives the answer in lowest terms and as a decimal. The circumference calculator works with circles: enter the radius, the diameter, the circumference or the area and it returns the other three. Every result shows the formula and each step, so you can use the page to check homework or a measurement by hand.
